Raritan, NJ (lifelong resident) – Marie A. Russin, 87, died on August 28, 2016. She was born in Olyphant, PA on November 18, 1928 to her late parents Julia Smolley and Edmund Nester.
Marie was a communicant at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough, was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, reading, and doing word search puzzles. Marie was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Marie is survived by her loving daughters, Annmarie (John) Quirico, Janet Russin, and Laura (Daniel) Sullivan, and five dear grandchildren, Carol Ann, Kathy, Evie, Doug, and Amanda. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Andrew Russin, May 25, 2006, five brothers, five sisters, and a dear grandson, Jimmy Quirico, July 20, 2012.
Viewing, Wednesday, August 31, 2016, 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887).
Funeral Services, Thursday, September 1, 2016, viewing 8:30 to 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 1900 Brooks Blvd., Hillsborough, NJ 08844.
Burial, St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
