Age 86 – Greenbrook
Dorothy Rizzo, 86, passed away at Abingdon Nursing Home on September 14, 2016. She was born in Junesdale, PA to her late parents Michael and Mary Salko on November 13, 1929.
Dorothy lived in Raritan and Somerville most of her life. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her dogs Jossel and Bumper. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville.
Dorothy is survived by her loving sisters Margaret Surek and Marie Davidovich; numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Luciano; former husband Lou Rizzo, Sr.; brothers Michael, Wassil, John, George and Thomas; sisters Mary, Maryann, Paulina, Eva, Helen Josephine and Dolores.
A Memorial Service is planned for Thursday, September 22, 2016, 4:00-6:00 PM, with a prayer service at 5:30 PM, at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869 (908) 725-1887.
