Bridgewater, NJ – Vincent J. Lopardo, 73, died January 20, 2017. He was born in Jersey City, NJ on March 15, 1943 to his late parents Rose Amatucci and James Lopardo.
Vincent was a Teacher at Jersey City Board of Education where he retired. His second career was playing the drums in a band. He graduated from Snyder High School and Jersey City State College. Vincent enjoyed antique cars, model trains, and raising homing pigeons. He was a kind, caring, generous person who was outgoing, an excellent provider to his family, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Vincent is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Dell'Aquila Lopardo of 47 years, two loving daughters, Renee Lopardo-Taveras (Juan) and Laura Lopardo, a dear sister, Rosemarie Giglio (Anthony), and two wonderful grandchildren, Thalya and Joshua. He was predeceased by his parents.
Viewing, Monday, January 23, 2017, 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887).
Funeral Services, Tuesday, January 24, 2017, viewing 8:30 to 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Ann's Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ 08869.
Entombment, St. Bernard's Cemetery Bridgewater, NJ.
