SOMERVILLE- John Esposito, 89, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 20, 1927 to the late Victoria (Basile) and Joseph Esposito in Brooklyn, NY.
John enjoyed all sporting events and was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, NY Giants and NY Rangers. He retired from Boss Linco Lines in Buffalo, NY. John was an outgoing and generous man who will be sadly missed by family and friends.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Michelina (Milelli); loving daughters Jeanette M. Hess (Mark) of Bridgewater, NJ and Linda V. Abbott (Jeff) of Bethlehem, Pa.; cherished grandchildren Brandon (Amanda) Hess, Samantha Hess, Rachel Abbott and Brianna Abbott; brothers Louis Esposito (Josephine) of Bridgewater, Joseph and Michael Esposito; a sister Mary Wise of Somerville; a sister in law Palma; he predeceased by his parents, a sister Domenica DeMasi (Vincent) and brothers Frank and August Esposito.
Viewing will be on Friday, February 24, 2017, from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908) 725-1887. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 25, 2017 beginning with a Funeral Mass 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church RC Church, 60 Maple Street, Bridgewater, NJ followed by a burial at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
