Obituary of Xenia Bodenchuk

Xenia "Sally" Bodenchuk Age 93 – Raritan Xenia "Sally" Bodenchuk, 93, entered into eternal life on June 2, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Sally was born on March 4, 1924, in Long Branch, NJ to her late parents, Eva (Guch) and Nicholas Benda. She had resided in Mt. Vernon, NY and Millstone Township in Monmouth County before moving to Raritan in 1963. Sally was a 1942 graduate of Allentown High School in New Jersey and also attended a Business School in New York. She worked as a clerk/typist for Mack Motors for 13 years and retired in 1986. Prior to that she owned and operated a Liquor and General Store with her husband for 10 years. Sally was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend and will truly be missed by all who knew her, especially her family. Sally is survived and will be sadly missed by her loving children, Raymond (Debbie) Bodenchuk of Coplay, PA and Carole (David) Worth of Burlington County, NJ; four cherished grandchildren, Cheyenne, James, Jason and Christina and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Jacob, and her precious chihuahua Muffins. She was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Raymond (1996) of 48 years; her daughter-in-law Donna (2007); and three sisters, Mary Benda (at the age 11), Faye Casserly (2004) of Lakeside, CA, and Nancy Gordon (2017) of Naples, FL.
