Obituary of Stephen Fandel

Raritan:

Stephen Fandel 100, of Raritan, NJ passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 10, 2019.

Steve was born in New York City and moved with his family to their farm in Sandbrook, NJ when he was 7 years old.

He was predeceased by his adored wife, Helen “Zuza”, parents Anna and Henry, and 12 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his daughter Ann Marie, son Stephen, grandsons Chad and Cory, precious great-granddaughter Andreala and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Steve worked for Calco (aka American Cyanamid) for over 40 years.  He was an A1 Mechanic who was always on call and who could fix almost anything.

Steve was a farmer at heart and could always be found in his garden during his spare time.  He loved to share his delicious Jersey tomatoes and Italian figs with family and friends.

Viewing will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 8:30am-10:00am.  A private interment for immediate family will be held immediately following.
