BRANCHBURG-    Kathleen “Kathy” Brandtner Leaper, 76, of Branchburg, entered eternal life Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was born to Valentine Brandtner and Johanna (Taylor) Brandtner in Charleroi, PA, on Nov. 5, 1944.  Kathy was a lover of Jesus, animals, and all things nature. Her talents lead her to many jobs including a Clerk Stenographer for the CIA, secretarial jobs, and the Human Society of Somerset County, as well as beginning the recycling program in Branchburg. Kathy’s compassion, wit, and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who knew her.


 

Kathy is survived by her beloved daughter Danielle, sister Johanna Levy, sister-in-law JoAnn Brandtner and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Kathleen is predeceased by her husband Robert J. Leaper with whom she cherished 38 years of marriage, and brother, Valentine T. Brandtner.


 

Visitation will be 1pm to 4 pm, Sunday, February 21, 2021 with a religious service to be conducted at 2 p.m. by Pastor Todd Buurstra of the North Branch Reformed Church at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908) 725-1887.  Funeral service private.
