I am heartbroken at the loss of a great guy whom I so enjoyed working with over the last 16 years. We solved many issues because of his outstanding knowledge mixed with a great personality. Rest In Peace my friend....I will miss you.

I am so sorry to learn of this. Scottie was a good man and a partner of mine at NJ TRANSIT when we created the ‘heritage’ locomotives for the company’s 40th anniversary in 2019. Scottie was a leader and the guy that used his skill to bring unions together with the goal and vision to fully paint and decorate three locomotives in schemes of three predecessor railroads. In just a few weeks, Scott and his men procured the materials, did the prep and work to deliver on time. Scott’s quick smile, firm handshake and can-do spirit were inspiring to me and I’m glad to have known him. Best wishes from my family to the Gaburo family; God bless you all.
