Obituary of Michael Anthony Vokes

RARITAN -   Michael Anthony Vokes, 57, died on Sunday, May 9, 2021 with family by his side.  He was born on July 28, 1963 to the late Emily A. and John J. Vokes.

Michael grew up in Hillsborough, NJ and made a home in Raritan.  He worked at Pathmark for many years and was a member of the Raritan Moose Lodge #1965.  He enjoyed playing the stock market and had a knack for being financially savvy.   He was very witty and while his mother was alive, he loved to torture and tease her when she tried to give him advice about life.  Michael loved his family and always remained a boy at heart.  Michael will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.

Michael is survived by his beloved brothers John (Patricia) and Christopher (Betsy), cherished nieces and nephews Eric, Kiersten, Kelsie, and Bridget, as well as many other dear family members and friends.  He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Elaine Vokes.
