Obituary of Salvatore Cammarata
FLEMINGTON- Salvatore Cammarata, 93, died on Monday, July 26, 2021. He was born on June 18, 1928 to the late Carmela and Cologero Cammarata in Dunmore, Pennsylvania.
Salvatore was a mechanic for Johns Manville in Manville, NJ. He was dedicated to his country and served in the Army. Salvatore enjoyed gardening, antique cars, wine making and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind, caring and generous man.
Salvatore is survived by his beloved wife Lina, loving children Lee Loukatos, Grace Marie Cyphers (Craig) and Elisa Esposito (Charles), cherished grandchildren Jamie, Ashley, Courtney, Jessica (Tim), Andrea (George) and Jacob (Stephanie), adored great grandchildren Kaiden, Bentley and Zsofia, a sister Gertrude Bonaduce. He is predeceased by his parents and his brothers Rosario and Nicholas.
Visitation from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908) 725-1887. Funeral service Saturday, July 31, 2021 beginning with a visitation at the funeral home from 9:00am to 10:15am followed by an 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Ann Church 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ. Entombment at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia or the Tourette Association of America.
