Obituary of Marie E. Chirico Grosh

HILLSBOROUGH-  Marie E. Chirico Grosh, 95, died on Saturday, April 30, 2022.  She was born on March 19, 1927 in Lyndhurst, NJ to the late Marie and Clarence Rucinski. 

Marie was born and raised in Lyndhurst, NJ and resided most of her life in Raritan, NJ.  She was a graduate of Lyndhurst High School.  Marie was employed at Ethicon as a secretary for the company’s international accounts.  In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking, and her lifetime hobby collecting over 500 milk creamers.  Marie was an avid reader.  She loved birds and adored her Cockatiel “Chippy”.  All who knew her will miss her gentle smile.

Marie is survived by her beloved daughter Kathleen Grigal (Frank) and son Robert Chirico (Lin), loving granddaughter Jennifer Delesky (David), cherished great grandchildren Owen and Alex Delesky, Cole and Camryn Grigal, a sister Loretta Vanderbeck (Robert), many nieces and nephews and Melissa Grigal.  She is predeceased by her husbands Dennis J. Chirico and Joseph W. Grosh and a grandson F. Daniel Grigal.

Visitation from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on May 9, 2022 at the Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908) 725-1887.  Funeral Services beginning 9:00 am on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 followed by a religious service 9:30am at the funeral home.  Interment will be conducted at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.  To send an online condolence visit www.Bongiovifuneralhome.com
