Obituary of Angelina Iannone

Raritan NJ

Angelina Iannone, age 86, died peacefully on Sunday July 24, 2022. She was born in Torchiati,  Montoro Avellino Italy to her dear parents the late Margherita Mirabile and Giovanni Caruso. 

Angelina worked for Johnson and Johnson for over 25 years in Quality Assurance in Raritan NJ.  She was a communicant of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Raritan and devoted to Saint Padre Pio.  She loved gardening especially her vegetable  and flower gardens. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed making meals for everyone who came into her home.  She enjoyed sitting on her front porch, chatting with neighbors and anyone who stopped by, she always had  a smile on her face.  Angelina was a devoted wife to her husband the late Mario Iannone and was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend to many.   She was kind, caring and generous and will be missed by all who knew her.

Angelina is survived by her two sons Edward (Wendy) Iannone of Franklin Twps. and Carlo Iannone of Raritan NJ.  She is also survived by her brothers Frank (Licia) Caruso and Claude (Louise) Caruso and her sisters Filomena Russo and Raffaella (Freddie) Zedney, in laws Elvira Iannone, Myrna and Anna Caruso and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Angelina was also predeceased by her parents and two brothers Anthony Caruso and Freddie Caruso. 

Visitation will take place on Sunday July 31, 2022 between 3:00pm and 6:00pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt 202S Branchburg NJ.  Funeral will take place on Monday August 1, 2022 between 9:00am and 10am at the Branchburg Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass 11:00am at St Ann Catholic Church 45 Anderson Street Raritan NJ.  Entombment to follow at St Bernard Cemetery Rt 28 Bridgewater NJ.
