Obituary of Domenico P Natale

Domenico P. Natale, age 91, died peacefully on Sunday December 10, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on June 29, 1932, in San Gregorio, D’Ippona, Calabria Italy to his late parents Rosa (Schipano) and Gregorio Natale.

Domenico worked maintenance for Johnson & Johnson in Raritan NJ for many years before retiring in 1994. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and canning tomatoes.  Domenico also enjoyed the many flavors of the wine he made and playing bocci ball with friends.  He was a devoted husband and loving father, nonno and great nonno brother, uncle and friend to many.  He will be sadly missed by all who know him.

Domenico is survived by his loving children, son Gregory Natale and daughters Rose (Ross) Carnovale of Canada and Toni (Paul) Stevens, grandchildren Gregory Jr (Emily), Jason (Kristina), Brett, Vincent, Dominic (Amanda), Marie (Delanyo), Brianne (Tyler), Blake and Alexandra and great-grandchildren Connor, Giuliana, Charlie, Gabriel and Dante. He is also survived by his sister Elisabetta (Vincenzo) Greco of Raritan, sister-in-law Teresina Greco and many nieces and nephews.

Domenico was predeceased by his loving wife Antonia Natale (2-22-2019), his parents and sister Maria Rosa Lacquaniti.

A viewing will take place on Wednesday December 13, 2023 between 4:00pm and 8:00pm at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue Raritan NJ. A viewing will also take place on Thursday December 14, 2023 between 9:00am and 10:15am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St Ann Roman Catholic Church 45 Anderson Street Raritan NJ.  Entombment will follow at St Bernard Cemetery 551 Rt 28 Bridgewater NJ.
