Obituary of Barbara A Barath

Barbara A. Barath, 87, died on Friday, July 26, 2024.  She was born on March 6, 1937 to her late parents Margaret (nee Slover) and John Anderson in Perth Amboy, NJ.

She was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and is survived by her son Ronald Barath, grandchildren Cassandra Pfitzenmayer, Michael Barath, Steven Barath, great-grandchildren Jayden, Madison and Hailey.  She was predeceased by her son Bruce Barath and isister Margaret Anderson.

Barbara worked as a nurse at the Mountain View Correctional facility where her kind, caring ways were evident.  In her leisure time she enjoyed sailing, going to the cassinos, playing BINGO and vacations to Aruba.  She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and her keen sense of humor will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 3 PM - 6 PM at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ.
