Obituary of Francesco D'Anna

Francesco D’Anna, 81, died Thursday November 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on June 27, 1943, to his late parents Maria Tardo and Antonio D’Anna in Naples, Italy.

Frank as he was known to everyone was a communicant of St Ann’s Catholic Church and a member of the St. Rocco’s Society.  He loved spending time with his friends at the Italian Bakery in Raritan, enjoyed wine making and tending to his garden, watching soccer, taking trips to Atlantic City and enjoying a glass of his home made wine with family and friends.

A devoted father, dear Nonno and a loving husband to his former wife Giuseppina, he was a hard worker at Johnson and Johnson, a great mechanic and a loyal friend to many.

Frank is survived by his devoted son Andre M. D’Anna, his brother Pasquale and sister Rafael of Naples Italy, three grandchildren Trevor, Anthony and Logan and former wife Giuseppina. 

Frank was predeceased by his son Antonio who died in 2011.

Viewing will be held on Monday November 11, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue Raritan NJ 908-725-1887.  Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday November 12, 2024 between 9 am and 10:30am at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass  at St Ann Catholic Church 45 Anderson Street Raritan NJ at 11:00am.  Entombment at St Bernard Cemetery Rt 28 Bridgewater NJ.
